Class Evaluation

                                                                       Class Evaluation

1. What I like about this class is that I sit close to my friends. I like the videos that Mr. Haymore shows us because it shows us example of different people choosing the right. I also like learning how to become a better person in this class.
2. What I dislike about this class is that we don't get to walk around class without permission.
3. One recommendation would be letting us walk around the class to go talk to people during free time. We should get free time the last 10 minutes of class.
4. One highlight of the class is when Mr. Haymore does the CTR check with the spinning wheel. Another highlight was when He gave us free time for the whole period.
5. I try to do my best in this class espicailly when we research a topic. This class has easy tasks and I try to complete all my work. I usually stay on task in this class.
6. I am not that committed when it comes to reading my Life planning goals. I try to read it when I have time. I sometimes forget to read it or if i do read it it's really quick. I should try to read my goals so that I can accomplish some.
7. I am not committed to being a CTR person. I try but sometimes i do the wrong things. It is a habit I guess and it's hard to break. I'm usually doing things that I shouldn't.

10 keys to personal power

The 10 Keys to Personal Power
Brian Tracy

Key 1: Clarity
"Have vision. Determine what you want to be, do or have in life. Have a sense of direction and know when you're going. If you do not have clear specific goals in life, you are doomed forever to work for other's who do."
You have to have at least have an idea of what you want to do. It's important because you can start preparing yourself for it. You can prepare yourself and be ready for whatever you want to do. By doing this it will be much easier for you to understand something. It can impact your life and make you a more responsible person. You will improve your time management and become more productive in your time. You become more focused on your work and it becomes really simple for you.

Key 2: Competence
"If you want to commit to excellence, opportunities will always come your way. The harder you work, the better you get."
The harder you work the better you will feel after you accomplish it. You need to give it your all and work hard for the things you want. You need to be able to complete all your work and do it efficiently. An example is you being able to play well and you got there by putting in effort. You never give up and try always to perfect something. You get better at it by practicing and always striving to do better. You push yourself to the limit and you don't let anything stop you.
Key 3: Concentration
"Make the best use of your time. Ask yourself "Is this the best use of my time?" before you start anything."
Use the time that you have wisely. Try to be productive with your time and use the most of it. If you know u have homework do it early so you won't be rushing to finish it later on. If you could finish or accomplish something earlier do it because something may prevent from doing it later on. You need to be able to decide what is important and what is not. You will have to know what's right and wrong. You will need to set your priorities straight. By using your time wisely, you can become successful in life. This is an important rule because it will help you out and stay with you forever.
Key 4: Common sense

  • Train your mind
  • Thinks things through
  • Listen to your tuition
  • Learn from setbacks
Common sense is what many people lack now a days. Common sense is good judgement on something. It's where you decide to whether to do something or not. You go over your choices and decider with yourself. If you failed one time, then you learn from that. Your mistakes help you grow as a person and it makes you better. Common sense is when you do the right thing and avoid doing things you shouldn't. Many people don't really use their common sense and they

Key 5: Creativity
"Except the fact that every human being is a genius. The hallmark of creativity is asking questions.
The people who are most creative ask the most questions."

Being creative is important because it shows that your imagination is strong. Being creative is thinking outside the box. Being creative is also good because you can create a new invention that could help out others. You look for new solutions in a problem. You think a lot and you make your brain work hard. All of your ideas are original or you make something that is already created better. Having creativity is important because you could make your life more fun and adventurous

Key 6: Consideration

"The quality of your relationships with other people will determine your success in life."
"Develop the people skills you need to become a better communicator. Take courses in listening, speaking, etc.
"If you were to learn one new word a day, within 5 years, you'll be the best educated person in history."
Consideration is when you take the time to think things over for a period of time. You are thinking very carefully about your decision. These are the choices that you have to think over because it's never an easy choice. You have to reflect and think about the consequences if you make a certain decision. You have to reflect on it and think of the effects it will have. This can also mean thinking of how you treat other people with your actions. You actions speak louder then words to people and that is how they will judge you on.

Key 7: Consistency
"Dependable, steady predictable work is always superior to fast spurts of work."
"Be consistent in your relationships, your family, Friends, your boss, your work Be the person that people can depend on. That if you say you'll do something you do it."
Being Consistent means that you work at a certain pace without changing. You can show consistency by always doing your homework. Consistency is important because you can get your work done faster. To be consistent means that you have made a plan for yourself and that you are sticking by it without changing you rhythm. Being consistent means working at the same pace for the same amount of time without having to change anything. To be consistent means that you have to be aware consciously. You have to live in the present and do things now not later.

Key 8: Commitment
" No success is possible without commitment. This ability to commit yourself whole heartily is the basis of achieving all success."
"Become totally absorbed in your work. Be totally committed."
Being Committed means sticking with something until the end. You stay doing something and you accomplish it or never turn it down. You stay dedicated to a cause that you believe in. You can also stay committed in a relationship in which you are loyal. You stay loyal to your partner and never do anything you shouldn't. You give your all to something and you put it first before everything else. Being committed is important because it can teach you responsibility. You also improve on time management if you have to do other things and stay committed to whatever you are doing. Some steps to staying committed are getting your goals together and going over them. You need to be able to see what is important and what is not. You need to hold yourself accountable also for your actions.\

Key 9: Courage
"The fear of failure is the single greatest reason for failure in life."
Having courage is important because you stand up for yourself and the things you believe in. Having courage means the stand by yourself doing the right even if everyone is doing the wrong. Courage is important because it helps you grow as an individual. It means standing up to challenges and facing your fears. To have courage means to have a lot of bravery. Doing the things you don't like doing are examples of courage. You could stand up to the bully or ask out your crush. This helps you become more open and it takes away your shyness. By having courage it could also show how to learn from mistakes that have happened.

Key 10: Confidence
"You only got confidence by doing thing over and over again."
Confidence is important because it shows that you believe in yourself. Confidence is relying on your
own abilities and trying your best. Confidence is also having trust in other people to do things. Confidence could also be the state of being certain. This means that you are feeling good about the work that you have completed. Confidence is good but you should never have to over confidence. Over confidence could be bad because it can show your ignorance and you should never put your pride first. Some things to do to raise up your confidence is thinking positive thoughts about yourself. You need to treat yourself better and at times reward yourself. Don't think negatively because that is going to lower your chances of doing things.

Reflection:
The 10 keys to personal power can benefit me by making me a better person. This helps me grow as an individual and i can also help others. It makes me a better person because i need to have confidence in myself to do things. I also have to be consistent with my work as well as behavior.I need to be committed to the things I am doing. I need to show courage when i am doing things. I am applying key number 7 and 8 at the moment. I am staying committed to the clubs that I am in as well being consistent with all the work I am turning in. I am being considerate to the feeling's of others as well as my own. I have good common sense and know right from wrong. I also have good concentration when it comes to class. This has helped have better grades as well as gain trust from the people in the clubs, I will incorporate the other keys by trying new things and being more outgoing. In order to do one key I need to know how to apply all of them together because without one key they won't work as they should be. I will need to revise all of my goals over again and try to improve them and think about them more clearly.

Character and Personality

                                              Character and Personality
What I learned from this video is that your personality is going to change throughout your life, but your character stays the same. That you need to do the most important things first not last. You reflect on yourself and see how you are behaving or acting. You need to act a ctr person for the rest of your life to live a good life. The thing that matter most is having a great character rather than having a great personality. Some people tend to focus on your character because it shows who you truly are. Personality can be cover up or disguise. By doing that you are not being true to yourself. The problem is that people pay more attention to a person;s personality rather than their character.
